Effective from: 28 July 2026
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Domi Fruit Kft. (registered office: 2360 Gyál, Kiskomáromi utca 23., Hungary; tax number: 25169715-2-13, the “Controller”). Our contact details are available on the Contact page, and our company information on the Legal Notice page.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers the processing of personal data that takes place while browsing domifruit.hu (the “Website”) and when sending a message through the Contact page. It does not cover processing carried out on the separate, partner-login-only site reached via the “Webshop” button in the header (currently: website.domifruit.hu) — data submitted there is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
This policy has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
3. Categories of Data Processed
3.1. Contact Form
When you complete the form on the Contact page, we process the following data: name, company name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the content of your message, and the IP address and timestamp recorded at submission.
| Purpose | Responding to your enquiry and maintaining contact |
|---|---|
| Legal basis | GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) — consent, given by voluntarily completing the form |
| Retention | Up to 3 years after the enquiry is resolved, or until a deletion request is received |
3.2. Technical Data / Server Logs
For the security and operation of the service, our web server automatically logs technical data generated when the Website is accessed (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser type). This data is used solely for troubleshooting and security purposes, is retained for a limited period (up to 90 days), and is not combined with any other identifying data.
3.3. Cookies
The Website uses only strictly necessary (session) cookies; we do not use advertising, social-media, or analytics/third-party cookies.
| Cookie name | PHPSESSID |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Remembering the selected language (HU/EN), protecting the contact form against abuse (CSRF token, rate limiting), and displaying system messages (e.g. confirmation that a message was sent successfully). |
| Duration | Session cookie: until the browser is closed; discarded server-side after at most 2 hours of inactivity |
| Legal basis | Strictly necessary for the operation of the Website under Section 13/A of Hungarian Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services; no prior consent is required for this category of cookie |
You may delete this cookie at any time in your browser settings, or configure your browser to refuse cookies altogether — in the latter case, some features of the Website (e.g. language switching, sending a message) may not work correctly.
4. Processors and Recipients
The Website's data is stored on servers provided by our hosting processor (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, European Union), acting on the Controller's instructions. When a message is submitted via the Contact page, the Controller receives an email notification through the email service it uses. We do not transfer or sell your data to any third party, except where required to comply with a legal obligation.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing;
- request data portability, where processing is based on consent or contract;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You may submit a request using the contact details on the Contact page. We will respond without undue delay, and in any event within 30 days.
6. Remedies
If you believe your data has not been processed in accordance with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the following authority, or seek judicial remedy:
Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH)
Address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., Hungary
Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., Hungary

Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu
Website: www.naih.hu
You may also bring proceedings before the competent Hungarian court, either where the Controller is established or where you reside.
7. Data Security
The Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted TLS/HTTPS connections, access restrictions, password protection) to keep processed data secure and to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.
8. Changes to This Policy
The Controller reserves the right to amend this policy. The current version is always available on this page, marked with the effective date above.
